Georgia Home and Garden Show Recap

Categories:

I am the newest member of the Atlanta Home Improvement team and very excited about the magazine! Earlier this month was my first time at a home show as a vendor, though I’ve been home shows plenty of times as a consumer and looking for leads. What a great experience it was to be at the Georgia Home and Garden Show. And this year it had record-breaking attendance with more than 10,000 visitors!

I walked around on Friday to get a feel for the show and meet my clients face to face. For a Friday, everyone was saying that it was busy … and I did notice a lot of my clients with potential customers. And the participating companies certainly seemed happy with what they saw, too.

On Sunday, I worked the Atlanta Home Improvement booth. What I loved about it was the reaction from our loyal readers–their excitement of seeing the magazine, their comments that they loved the publication and their curiosity as to when the March issue was coming out (it’s out now, by the way!). One woman even told me that her husband has to bring two issues home every month because she does not want to share! Love it!

A lot of people were asking questions about how to get the magazine. If you’re wondering, too, just go to our home page and type in your ZIP code. You’ll get all the locations in your area where you can pick up the latest issue.

It was a GREAT weekend for the show, and seems to have been a successful event for all of the vendors; they’re still catching up on those leads! I’m looking forward to my next home show experience at the Spring Atlanta Home Show at the Cobb Galleria on April 1st-3rd. See you all then!
