Our Mission

We are working to create a world-class park, by restoring and preserving its historic importance and features while providing venues for active and passive recreation for all the people who use the park. We are an oasis of greenspace in the heart of America’s greatest city. In working to preserve and enhance Grant Park, the Conservancy serves neighborhood and city residents, local businesses, schools, churches, and other organizations, as well as all park visitors from both inside and outside the community.

Get Involved

Historic Preservation

We are very excited to announce that Park Pride has awarded the Grant Park Conservancy a $100,000 Legacy Grant for our historic preservation work focused on the Erskine Fountain and the Lion Bridge!

Volunteer Work Days

On the second Saturday and third Friday of each month, please join the GPC in our mission to care for Grant Park – Atlanta’s most historic park. We depend on volunteers to help keep Grant Park healthy and beautiful. There are many ways to get involved.

Canopy Care

GPC is dedicated to the ecological restoration and preservation of Grant Park's trees and native plant life. Programs created by the conservancy ensure the health of our "green umbrella" for now, and for future generations.

EVENTS IN THE PARK

There's always something fun happening in Grant Park! Email info@gpconservancy.org to help bring the Summer Shade Festival, the Canopy Soirée, and other fun events to the park.

Our Partners

In partnership with the City of Atlanta’s Department of Parks & Recreation, the Conservancy works to focus new resources toward restoration and maintenance efforts and to adapt to the changing needs of its users. Some of these needs relate to landscaping, infrastructure, design, cultural activities and environmental issues. Use the HAPPIFEET app to report an issue in the park.
