1. ATLANTA DESIGN & BUILD
KITCHEN REMODEL 
1809 Wynthrop Manor Drive, Marietta, GA  30064

These Marietta homeowners really handed a tall order to their remodeling team at Atlanta Design & Build. They wanted a kitchen makeover that improved traffic flow and storage, while increasing overall functionality. They also needed multiple workstations for family members to prepare meals together and they wanted all appliances to be updated as well. 

Despite this list of needs and a few challenges along the way (like preserving the original flooring), Atlanta Design & Build really came through. From the spice rack pullout columns to the spacious storage solutions, this renovation is chock full of innovative, modern ideas. Come tour it in person and see if you don’t walk away with fresh new inspirations for your own kitchen!

2. DECKS & MORE
OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE AND KITCHEN REMODEL
1060 Medlin St., Smyrna, GA  30080
This incredible renovation went outside in, or was it inside out? Not content to end with updating the main indoor kitchen, Decks and More also installed a stunning outdoor kitchen. Built on a 640-square foot patio, the outdoor kitchen’s features are a custom built barbecue grill, a hammered copper sink and a unique countertop called Shirestone, which is a green alternative countertop. (Shirestone can be poured and hand-sculpted for an amazing textured finish.) This project must be seen to be believed, with beautiful water features, custom outdoor sconces and a tongue & groove soaring ceiling that provides these lucky homeowners the rustic retreat they deserve.

3. HANDCRAFTED HOMES, INC. 
BASEMENT REMODEL
16 West Wieuca Road, Atlanta, GA 30342

This terrace-level renovation is a fascinating entertainment space for both adults and kids. It’s a unique renovation which seems to function as six spaces in one. Come tour it live and get an up-close look at the stunning wraparound bar with unique pewter countertop and custom designed pecan cabinetry. The other end of the room features a spacious new media area with a TV “suspended” between two columns. The new French doors open to a renovated outdoor area that offers fun and sophistication with a stone patio, firepit and playscape area. 

4. CRUICKSHANK REMODELING 
OUTDOOR LIVING REMODEL
42 West Brookhaven Drive NE Atlanta, GA 30319

These Brookhaven homeowners purchased an adjacent property to expand their yard for outdoor entertaining. And did they ever! Shown on this page are only a few of the six incredible outdoor features installed by Cruickshank Remodeling. Working to precise homeowner requirements, this talented designer/builder tore down the brick ranch house on the adjacent property and did substantial site work to create transitions to the new lot. They created a variety of outdoor experiences including, a tent site for events, formal garden, pavilion, greenhouse, outdoor fireplace courtyard, and landscape folly. A true outdoor wonderland, waiting for you to wander through!

5. NEIGHBORS HOME REMODELING

KITCHEN REMODEL
7390 Talbot Colony, Sandy Springs, GA 30328

Super stylish. Stunning storage! This kitchen renovation by Neighbors Home Remodeling turned a cluttered, dated kitchen into a clever and efficient living space. The owners wanted a more calming environment so they selected a “Tuscan” style for the new space. Neighbors Home also converted the old laundry room in the corner of the kitchen to a functional pantry with slide-out shelves and a stacked washer and dryer.  This design actually doubled the amount of storage space even with the removal of the island. The hand carved travertine farm sink is the clear focal point. All of the electrical outlets, switches and lights were placed under the cabinets for a totally clean unobstructed backsplash. 

6. CSI KITCHEN & BATH STUDIO 
KITCHEN REMODEL
115 Steeple Gate Lane, Roswell, GA 30076

This Roswell kitchen was completely redesigned to make it more functional, more efficient and aesthetically pleasing. The island was totally redesigned to create a clever seating area on the back of the island. A bar on the left side contains a beverage center, sink, glass cabinets for display and additional storage.

The fireplace on the back wall of the family room was completely redone for a casual, contemporary look with stacked stone to the ceiling, flat screen TV, mantel and “floating” storage units on each side. (And talk about spreading the love! By incorporating a fully-retractable NanaWall, CSI Kitchen and Bath Studio made sure that this gorgeous new kitchen would be fully accessible to the outdoor entertaining area as well.) This project must be seen in person to be believed!

7. DISTINCTIVE REMODELING SOLUTIONS, INC.
KITCHEN, BATH, MUDROOM AND LAUNDRY REMODEL
640 Leather Hinge Trail, Roswell, GA 30075

What happens when you reposition doors, paint cabinets a bright white and double the size of the powder room? You let the light in! This project by Distinctive Remodeling Solutions had to meet the needs of this busy family, providing function and efficiency while still reflecting their classic design style. Elegant finishes include a relaxing paint palette coupled with silver-toned nickel and polished stainless plumbing fixtures throughout, all of which create continuity between spaces. Now this hardworking space offers a drop zone and storage for the entire family, keeping clutter out of the kitchen, and provides room for the laundry center. Granite countertops and porcelain floor tiles make clean-up a breeze! Come wander around this breezy, light remodel yourself and find your own bright flash of inspiration.

Where: Homes are located in various parts of the Atlanta Metro area.
Cost: Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 the day of the tour and will be available for purchase at www.atlantaremodelingtour.com. Attendees may visit the homes in any order and can download a map from the tour website.
