What To Do When Replacing Your Shower Door
Q: Is there anything else I should consider repairing or replacing when getting a new shower door?
A: I recommend removing your old shower enclosure (or having it removed) well before your new one arrives in order to inspect the old tile or substrate. This will give you an opportunity to clean the area underneath the door and locate and repair any gaps or holes where grout is missing. You may be without a shower door for a few days or weeks, but the inconvenience will pay off with the assurance that your new shower will be watertight.
