Ackerman Security Systems Partners with Essential Housing and City of Atlanta
Ackerman Security Systems is providing a home security system for a model home in Legacy Pointe, a new affordable and sustainable community in Reynoldstown.
The security system will feature the latest technology with the ability to protect the home from the threats of burglary, home invasion, fire, carbon monoxide and medical emergencies. Additionally, the Ackerman system can help save energy with optional thermostat controls, lighting controls and video recording and surveillance. Legacy Pointe is a joint project of the Essential Housing Program, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Transportation and the City of Atlanta seeking to provide safe, sustainable, energy-efficient, healthy and affordable homes in urban environments close to public transportation and economic centers in an effort to rehabilitate neighborhoods and revitalize local economies. “Ackerman Security Systems is honored and pleased to contribute to this worthwhile cause,” says president Jim Callahan.
