Atlanta Home Addition Makeover
Seeking an updated kitchen and living room in their 1945 home, these Buckhead homeowners contacted Glazer Design and Construction for their addition and renovation. By completely relocating the kitchen and adding 1,000 additional square feet, the Glazer team created space for a large island and second serving counter and bar.
Heated porcelain tile floors visually connect the kitchen and adjacent living room. The natural light from two sets of French doors and a large window highlights the new architectural elements, including a stone fireplace, built-in storage and coffered ceiling. Eco-friendly features of the EarthCraft-certified renovation include spray-foam insulation, a tankless water heater and high-efficiency HVAC units. Cabinetry is by TrueSource Cabinets, windows and doors are by Pella Windows and Doors and the heated floor system is by Heavenly Heat. Check out more Atlanta home makeovers.
