Atlanta Landscaping Professionals To Improve Skills and Services at Ga. Urban Ag Council EDGE Expo

Atlanta’s landscaping professionals will be using this year’s off-season to improve their skills and services at the the first annual Georgia Urban Ag Council EDGE Expo Dec. 7-8 at Gwinnett Center. This two-day trade show gives local pros the chance to experience and test the latest landscaping tools, techniques and trends as well as receive business training to help them grow and better serve customers.Some of the topics that will be covered during the expo include:
- How to use line, form, space pattern, color, and texture to create charming and distinct landscape designs
- Strategies for avoiding poor choices in siting, pruning, selection and planting by Atlanta gardening expert Walter Reeves
- New annuals, perennials and tropicals for Georgia
- Pesticide training
- Tree care
The EDGE Expo is sponsored by the Georgia Urban Ag Council, a newly formed professional association that includes members of the Metro Atlanta Landscape & Turf Association, Georgia Sod Producers Association and the Georgia Turfgrass Association.
