What’s the best piece of advice someone has given you since starting your career?
Becca Hunt: Don’t allow anyone to dull your shine, and never take no for an answer.
What do you wish more people knew about your particular industry?
BH: Interior design is a lot more than just picking out pillows and home decor. I try to educate as many people as I can on the intricacies of what we do!
What advice would you give to others working to make an impact on their industry?
BH: Build relationships. Work will always come when you value and improve others.
How do you face challenges that come up during projects?
BH: New construction and renovations are always challenging. You never know what issues can come up. I’ve learned from my business partner to always forecast what can or can’t happen so you’re prepared if and when it does.
