Among the winners of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s 2012 OBIE Awards are Aycock Properties and Epic Development.

Aycock Properties won Gold in the Residential Remodeling—Additions category.

Epic Development won Gold in the categories of Urban Redevelopment/Revitalization $450,000 – $549,000 and Whole House Renovation $250,000 – $500,000 and Silver in Urban Redevelopment/Revitalization $299,000 and Under and $300,000 – $449,000.

Gold, Whole House Renovation $250,000 – $500,000

This project also won Bronze in Qualified Remodeler’s Master Design Award competition in the category of Whole-House Renovation $200,000-$500,000. It is a completely rejuvenated 3,800-square-foot home, originally built in 1970, which sits on an acre of land off West Paces Ferry Road in Atlanta and overlooks a creek and 25-foot waterfall.

The OBIE Awards program began in 1980 and is presented by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, Inc.’s Sales and Marketing Council to honor excellence in building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement in the local homebuilding industry.
