Easiest Method to Remove Wallpaper

One of the most dreaded renovation projects for many homeowners is wallpaper removal. While there are many methods to the madness, you’ll swear by this trick’s efficiency!

  • Add Downy® fabric softener to hot water when stripping wallpaper.
  • Mix the solution in small batches to keep the water as hot as possible.
  •  Use a spray bottle to saturate a section of the wallpaper.
  • The fabric softener reactivates the glue from the wallpaper so it comes off easier, avoiding scrapes and damages to the sheetrock
