Is there anything replacement windows can do to reduce outside noise?
A: When outside noise is a concern, you can upgrade the glass package in your windows to either Sound Transmission Class and Outdoor-Indoor Transmission Class (STC/OITC) glass or laminated glass, both of which provide sound-reducing benefits. For added security in addition to noise reduction, laminated glass is a good choice.
