If you weren’t in the home industry what would you want to do?
I used to be a police officer and a security specialist in Afghanistan; my degree is in criminal justice. My plan was to attend law school, but God had other plans.

Why do you have a passion for the home industry?
I get a natural high on seeing a house transform into a home.

Describe a project that challenged you. What did you take away from this project?
We flip houses, so there’s always something challenging in every project. But when you have to take on the task that one of your contractors is usually responsible for, you realize how much they are appreciated. For me it was with drywall. My husband and I did it on
our own one time and I was holding it up with my head trying to help him, ha!
