Q & A – What are the different ways I can control my lighting system?

Traditional astronomical digital timers are the most popular, since they are economical. Your lights will come on at dusk and go off at whatever time you designate. We do not typically recommend Wi-Fi-enabled devices controlled via a smartphone because your lights will not come on if there is an issue with your internet. Proximity is usually an issue with Bluetooth-enabled controllers so we definitely stay away from them. If you want to control your landscape lights along with other exterior or interior lights from the same control point, we recommend hard-wired technology such as UPB.
