Designer, Princess Thompson, created this open concept design by removing a load-bearing wall and installing a hidden beam. This change had a big impact, dramatically expanding the kitchen and connecting it to the dining room with a large peninsula.

Thompson also took extra care to keep the character of the home intact and maximize storage. The team installed the same flooring throughout the main floor of the home and created custom solutions like reclaimed wood floating shelves. Fine details including tile backsplash, quartz countertops, and pendant lighting brought the entire design together. With the whole project completed in just 5 weeks, the homeowners now have a kitchen they can enjoy for years to come.
