What’s The Ideal Thickness for My Frameless Shower Door?
Q: What should I know about choosing the thickness of the glass for my frameless shower door and enclosure?
A: Frameless shower door glass comes in two thicknesses, inch and 1⁄2 inch. Our rule of thumb is that inch glass is adequate for an enclosure up to 84 inches tall. For taller installations, we recommend using 1⁄2 inch glass. Our sales team will help guide you through this decision to ensure the perfect fit and feel for your space.
