2011 Spring Atlanta Home Show This Weekend

Have you ever wished you could find everything for your home and landscape needs under one roof–a “mall” for everything home improvement? Well you are in luck this weekend, April 1-3! SEMCO Productions will host the 33rd Annual Spring Atlanta Home Show this Friday through Sunday at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta. Not only can you talk to remodelers personally about ideas to update your kitchen or add that extra bedroom, you can also talk to landscapers about what to do with your now bare yard that has a big drainage problem. Or you can see and touch the latest in home appliances, spas, pools, mattresses, countertops, cabinetry, closets–I could go on and on.

What do I look forward to at each Atlanta Home Show? I usually have some home improvement project I am working on, so I love to find solutions and new products. And a girl can always dream–an expanded kitchen with a new faucet, countertops, cabinets, etc.; or the outdoor living room with a grand outdoor kitchen to entertain around.

I also love the opportunity to see the companies who support us each month to catch up and learn more about their latest finds and projects. You certainly can’t miss the opportunity to try Dale Contant’s famous wing sauce. He will be cooking it up at the Atlanta Design & Build booth. And I cannot lie, I love grabbing some wine at the end of the day in the wine-tasting area. After all, it supports a great cause!

Best of all, I get the chance to meet and interact with our readers. After each show, we are always inspired with new ideas and re-energized from the love and support we receive.
