As is often the case in Chicago suburban subdivisions, homes are built just feet away from each other, and backyards are open to those of their neighbors’. To offer a little more privacy to their outdoor living area, the owners of this North Aurora home brought in the experts at North Aurora Landscaping Inc. to design and install a curved seat wall that surrounds their patio without completely enclosing it. The wall offers additional seating to guests, better defines the outdoor living area, and comes with the added bonus of a spot for an outdoor fireplace. Because of its curvy design, each wall brick had to be hand-cut. The result is a custom creation perfect for outdoor entertaining.
