Shortly after moving into their new home, Nikki Conyers Williams and her husband realized that their large open living room needed a change.

Using plum sofas as the inspiration for the color scheme of the room, Nikki created a more contemporary space by adding gray accents, painting and tiling the arch above the fireplace.
