A: When thinking about your home’s siding, kickout flashing and roofline flashing details are very important; you should inspect them at least once a year to keep ahead of any problems with leaks or damage. If you have fiber cement siding, make sure it is elevated off the roofline at least 1 inch to help reduce water absorption.
