Around Town: You Stun Us Again, Atlanta Botanical Garden
From incredible Dale Chihuly glass exhibitions, to their spectacular Garden Lights, Holiday Nights exhibition, the Atlanta Botanical Garden just never disappoints.
But what is happening there right now takes their creativity and beauty to a whole new level. Called “Imaginary Worlds”, the mosaiculture they are currently displaying will take your breath away.
Here's how the Atlanta Botanical Garden describes the exhibit: "In 2013, a menagerie of magical creatures cast an enchanting spell over the Garden with 19 monumental living sculptures of fantasy and delight. The sculptures – ranging up to 25 feet tall and 20 feet wide – included a gazing unicorn, a friendly ogre, a pair of gigantic cobras, a group of enchanting rabbits, and a couple of flighty butterflies. The largest piece, a 25-foot-tall representation of a goddess emerging from the earth, greets visitors in the Cascades Garden. Earth Goddess is now a permanent feature in the Garden, and new pieces arrive in 2014."
Now scroll down to see just a few of the stunning living sculptures on display. Family-friendly or date-friendly, choose whatever outing suits you best. But you need to go see these jawdropping features in person.
