Our first category, Solid Tongue and Groove has a unique product referred to as EcoSolid Forest. The characteristics that make EcoSolid Forest so extremely dynamic are the surface and random widths. EcoSolid Forest essentially is a bamboo stalk cut in half vertically, flattened and pressed, thus revealing the joints in the bamboo stalk which creates a relief effect that is quite different from traditional bamboo floors. Thus the appearance is a true bamboo stalk effect that is design savvy.

Our second feature is random widths. Each case is packed with 4 foot planks, 2 ¼”, 3 ¾” and 5” wide. When this floor is installed randomly by alternating widths, it produces an incredible design feature, as random as the width of stalks in a bamboo forest, hence the name. The tongue and groove connecting system allows it to be nailed down to a wood floor substrate or with the proper adhesive, glued down to a concrete floor. EcoSolid Forest is also extremely dense which allows us to offer a 10-year commercial warranty and 50-year residential. EcoSolid Forest is not your parent’s bamboo floor. You just have to see it and touch it to get the full effect.

The dassoSWB solid click collection has the widest selection of new designs; exotic, contemporary, traditional and wire-brushed finish. DassoSWB is a Strand Woven Bamboo solid product (meaning thousands of bamboo strands are compressed under high heat and pressure, forming a solid plank that is fashioned into individual planks with a click connecting system). In the exotic category, we offer dassoSWB Tigerstripe. emulating tiger stripes from two different strands being woven together.

From a contemporary perspective, dassoSWB Espresso, Roasted Chestnut and Coffee Bean add depth to any living space with contrasting dark, rich brownish reds and deep chocolate color.

With the handcrafted hand-scraped texture, the effect is dramatic. DassoSWB also gets traditional with its Antique Amber and Antique Toffee colors. The astounding golden or rustic red color surrounds each plank by a hand-applied French bleed, adding a true visual appearance of oak planks and upholding the green value of a renewable resource; bamboo. Finally, our unique finish—wire brush—fits well into any exotic, modern, coastal or eclectic motif. Winter Wheat and Summer Wheat are rather whimsical in nature for their white or golden striations.
