Cabana-Style Addition
Renovation by Capital Improvements, McKinney, (214) 495-7200, www.cimprovements.com
The owners of this University Park home originally envisioned a detached cabana/guest house on their newly purchased adjacent lot. Upon meeting with Capital Improvements, the vision changed to an attached addition to their existing home, allowing the space to be more utilized. The result was a whole-house renovation that added a guest suite with a separate entrance from the main house, along with all of the client’s original needs for a cabana, including a complete kitchen, bath, game room, guest suite and separate laundry room.
This entire house will be featured on the 2011 NARI Remodeled Homes Tour on Oct. 22-23. For more information about the tour, turn to p. 16 in this issue or visit www.naridallas.org.
