First, we’d like to wish all the dads out there a very happy Father’s Day! While we know that superdads can do almost anything, sometimes it is better to leave some construction work to the pros. This Father’s Day and the days to come, consider consulting designer Chip Wade to create a custom tree house that can be a getaway for the whole family.

Owner and lead designer of Wade Works Creative, LLC, Chip fulfilled all the wishes of a Druid Hills family when he envisioned and brought to life this creative tree house with multiple levels and activities for all ages.
Three story tree house
The first level of the three-story tree house includes several swings and a rope ladder. On the second level there is a custom play area for the family’s three young girls. And the more mature crowd can enjoy the zip line and adult hangout spot on the top level. Throughout the structure, as you move up, there are mini trampolines, slides, and whimsical details that bring the whole tree house together as a woodland escape.

Wondering if a custom tree house is an option for your backyard? Chip advises that this project takes careful planning. You should make sure you have two straight and healthy trees that are at least 16 inches in diameter. These requirements will allow for the trees to continue growing as your kids do.
