Why do you love working at Walker Zanger?
Being a family owned company, they definitely cemented the importance of family/work balance and were willing to let me take as much time as I needed to get back in the groove of things in the showroom after my pregnancy.
How did you get your start in the home industry? I graduated Georgia State University with a BA in Art History and minored in Marketing. My first “big girl” job was a showroom assistant at a fabric company in ADAC.
What advice would you give to those hoping to start a career in the home industry? Patience is key when working with homeowners who are taking on a project as important as their own home. With social media, people are bombarded with inspiration photos of what they want their dream home to be. It’s our job to take their ideas and make them a reality.
