For a good professional kitchen remodel, you may have to pay more than you think. So we asked Wade Bowman, owner of Plantation Renovation, what we could get on a budget of $4,000. Here is what he said:

“There are a number of things that can be done depending on the scope and size of the kitchen. Here are some features that could each be done on a budget of $4,000:

  • new granite countertops and a tiled backsplash
  • cabinet refinishing or refacing
  • new lighting and backsplash with new paint
  • adding an island to the kitchen
  • updating appliances”
