How often should I replace window coverings?
Replacing your window coverings depends on the type, how often they are used and the exposure they get. For example, shutters coated with lacquer paint have a stronger resistance against direct sun without discoloring and screen shades with UV-graded fabrics can last for 10+ years. Inspect your window coverings regularly for signs of wear and tear and if you notice any issues, it may be time to consider replacing them. Hunter Douglas offers a limited lifetime warranty.
