Q: What do you recommend if I have a shower leak?

A: It depends on where you see the leak. If water is coming under or around the shower door into your bathroom, then a shower door technician should be able to fix the problem with a new silicone application or new sweeps [vinyl sealing]. If the water is spotting the ceiling below or appearing on the paint adjacent to your shower, then the tile or pan may not be sealed properly. A tile professional or plumber may be required.
