Local Remodeler Wins National Contractor of the Year Award for Ne-Yo Project
M Remodeling, Inc., with team members MODA Floors and Interiors and Recentered Pieces, LLC, has won a national Contractor of the Year Award from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). The award was given for the team’s entry in the Residential Interior Element category, a fireplace makeover at the Atlanta home of R&B singer Ne-Yo.“It was a fun project that allowed us to stretch our creativity,” says M Remodeling president Mark Galey. “I want to thank Ne-Yo and Mo for the opportunity to do the project and, secondly, thanks to all who participated.”
The custom 16-foot fireplace features hundreds of pounds of black marble and required complex framing and custom steel brackets to support the structure.
Only 26 national winners were selected from more than 100 regional finalists, which included projects by several Atlanta area remodelers, including Battle Renovations, of Buford, and Kade Homes and Renovations, of Cumming, in addition to M Remodeling. Get more Atlanta home improvement news.
