Make Entertaining Easier with A Multipurpose Prep Station
The beginning of May brings a time-honored Georgia tradition, pool and patio season, or as some may call it, summer. Mealtime moves outside, and memories are made with first swims, pool parties and fireside chats.
Entertainers at heart, this Buckhead couple couldn’t bear to be away from the party for long. So when it came time for round two renovations on their home, they knew exactly what was needed. Tired of missing out on conversations while working away in the kitchen, they wanted a home base closer to their outdoor area where they could grab drinks, keep pool towels and prep food for grilling.
Enter Sherry Hart Designs. With the help of architect Linda McArthur and builder Ladisic Fine Homes, designer Sherry Hart turned what was once an unused hallway into a multipurpose space that is part prep area, mudroom and butler’s pantry.
Now not only are drinks and warm towels a step away, but Charlie the Cavapoo has also gained a new favorite hangout, complete with his own chic doggy door.
