RaChel Hill built her career through curiosity, hands-on learning and a genuine love for helping others. Today, she’s known for her ability to maximize emerging trends, but also for the strong relationships she cultivates across the industry. From mentoring peers and guiding clients to giving back to the community, Hill’s impact shines far beyond the showroom.

What trends are you excited about in lighting this year?

One of my favorite trends in lighting is the mixing of colors and materials. Think colored glass and metal panels, or champagne gold and white on the same fixture. It allows us to make spaces so incredibly personal to someone’s style and how they want their space to feel.

What motivates you?

I am constantly reminded that so much of what we do is about people. I have made lifelong industry connections in my showroom and have had incredible mentors along the way. I try to pass along that same knowledge and care to others every day.

Is there a piece of advice that has stuck with you?

There is no such thing as “too young” or “too inexperienced.” I knew nothing about the things I continue to achieve in this industry. As long as you are willing to learn, collaborate and innovate, the only limits on you are the ones you place on yourself.
