Remodeled Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry Room Part of Main Floor Makeover
Since I’m working on our annual Kitchen & Bath issue for December, a lot of fabulous kitchen and bath projects have been landing in my inbox lately. Kitchens and baths are some of the most popular remodels and have some of the biggest returns on investment. That’s why we dedicate an entire issue to the topic each year, and I’m excited about the projects being featured this year along with our Kitchen & Bath Planner, which will help jumpstart your plans.
One of the more memorable projects that has come across my desk recently is a main floor renovation by Distinctive Remodeling Solutions that is being featured on the upcoming NARI Atlanta Tour of Remodeled Homes, Oct. 1-2. This project includes an elegant new kitchen, bathroom and laundry room.

There are some very contemporary features in the new bathroom such as the espresso finish of the vanity, the vessel sink and the vertical mosaic tile that is so popular now. Here again, touches such as the lamp fixtures and furniture-quality vanity make the bath feel more like a living room than a cold workspace.
The laundry room complements the espresso hue of both the kitchen and bath, making the entire main floor seamless in its look yet keeping the spaces special in their own way. What do you think about this makeover? Let us know by leaving a comment.
