Roswell Remodeler Wins National “Ugliest Bathroom” Makeover Contest

Categories:

We are always looking for great before-and-after projects, so we were thrilled to find out one of Atlanta’s own has been recognized by American Standard and Daily5Remodel as one of three national winners of its “Ugliest Bathroom” makeover contest. David Sturm of Attention to Detail Home Remodeling in Roswell transformed a small, dark bathroom with hideous wallpaper and dated fixures into a modern, light-filled retreat.

Modern-bathroom-sinkglass-block-showerThe bathroom remodeling project involved installing a six-foot window, non-splash countertop sinks, brushed nickel Danze fixtures, a glass-block shower, slate flooring, and a point-of-use water heater. And that warm-colored wood cabinetry? Custom-made by Attention to Detail with Bubinga veneer and maple panels. It’s proof that small bathrooms can be stylish too.

Sturm and the other contest winners each took home the new 5-Function Shower System from American Standard, which offers five spray patterns and a pressure-compensating flow control to provide a full flow rate regardless of water pressure.
