The team at SDR recently completed another stunning kitchen remodel in East Cobb. Designers Princess Thompson & Lori Shedlock took a dated kitchen and updated it to a more upscale, modern space while still keeping the traditional feel of the rest of the home. They added 60” wall cabinets with 6” crown and riser to the ceiling, plus a focal point tile wall with a large stainless hood. All above a 48” range to give the kitchen a grand and spacious feel. Princess and Lori also included a large functional island with a microwave drawer and plenty of additional storage space. The island serves as a perfect serving space when entertaining, or a place where family can congregate when everyone is at home. They tied everything together with details like accent lighting above the sink, pendant lighting above the island, as well as panels on the front of the refrigerator to match the rest of the cabinetry.
