When do I need to start pool construction?

Pool construction can be completed any time of year in this area of the country.  However, January, February, and March are great months to plan your project.  This allows time for efficiency as well as landscaping materials to be planted after the pool installation and still early in the year before spring arrives.  Many pool design and installation companies will offer 5-10% discount in price when scheduled in the winter months vs. the summer.  There are many companies offering pool installation and some that offer complete designs for custom pools as well as any surrounding areas you would like manicured with hardscapes or landscapes.  Custom pools are a great option as everyone’s backyard has a different layout and size.  If you choose a company with architects and designers as well as the installation team, you may see a smoother process from inception to completion.  The architect designing the pool and/or spa can also incorporate more elements into your outdoor paradise.  Outdoor kitchens, cabanas and pergolas, entertainment areas such as seating, fireplaces or fire pits, kids play areas, other common areas, and the surrounding landscape to bring in the serenity of the outdoors are just a few elements you may want to consider in the master plan for your perfect getaway.  It is wonderful to be able to plan and complete a pool project any time of the year, just be ready before it’s time to start enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
