“Yard Crashers” Features Atlanta Makeover Projects

Next week, tune in to DIY Network’s “Yard Crashers” to see the results of two Atlanta makeover projects. The first Atlanta-based episode, “Backyard Boulder Bash,” premieres on Tuesday, July 5, at 11 p.m. with an encore on Wednesday, July 6, at 11:30 p.m. It features an Atlanta family with a backyard lacking direction and creativity plus a dated patio and drainage problems due to a couple hillsides on their property. Landscape contractor Ahmed Hassan and his crew come to the rescue to solve the drainage issues and add a unique boulder water feature, artificial turf play area, new hardscapes and outdoor furniture too.

The second episode, “Modern Backyard Design,” premieres Thursday, July 7, at 11 p.m. with an encore on Friday, July 8, at 11 p.m. This episode features a newly engaged Atlanta couple with an oddly shaped and hilly backyard with overgrown trees. Hassan and company arrive just in time to transform the eyesore into a dream modern oasis complete with areas for entertaining, reading and cooking s’mores as well as space for their dog to run around.
