Where should you install heated flooring?
The most obvious place to add heated flooring is in the bathroom. (This is especially ideal for bathrooms over a garage, where there is unheated space underneath.) Additionally, we have found that basements, kitchens and sunrooms also benefit from a heated floor. Because the product is a completely sealed system, it allows for installation on shower floors, and bench seats as well.

Underfloor heating is safe, cost effective, and energy efficient:
Unlike heated air, the radiant heat used in underfloor heating does not dry out the room. It operates on a low voltage system that does not require much energy. You can also pick zones, and run your heated floor on a timer.

Once installed, what maintenance do I need to worry about? Will it ever stop working?
Our company has used a product called Speedheat on numerous occasions over the past nine years, and we have not experienced any maintenance issues whatsoever, the installations are in perfect working order.

Can heated floor systems be installed under flooring other than tiles?
Yes, depending on the heating element company. With Speedheat, we can help our clients heat tile, hardwood, and even carpet flooring.
