Melissa Bean, Owner of 5th Generation Contracting, and her husband, Wayne, have been running an award-winning remodeling firm for more than 15 years in East Cobb. Beginning with Melissa’s great-great grandfather, the family has been remodeling and building custom homes since the mid-1800s. Melissa learned the value of making and keeping lifelong clients from her grandfather who taught her the business and inspired her to run her own remodeling firm. Melissa is honored to be sharing this passion and these values with her children—working alongside her daughter and son- in-law, Laura and Brian Tenuto, and her son, Grant Bean, who are the 6th Generation of the firm.

5th Generation Contracting delivers an extraordinary product and client experience through its unique design-build process. Developing trusting relationships with clients is key and 5th Generation does this time and time again by demonstrating how to align their words and actions with their client’s home investment plans. Each client is taken through a custom design step so that the details of the project are fully mapped out before construction begins. The firm builds projects such as additions, kitchens, bathrooms, whole house remodels, basements and custom homes.
