As a professional plumber, I know one thing: Trees love sewer lines! Have your sewer line camera inspected to check your line for any cracks or breaks where roots could penetrate the line. If they are already in your line then have it cleaned out.
Repair any freeze leaks and research insulation options to prevent future freezing. Check for any openings in the foundation and seal them against any future cold snaps. Add isolation valves to your outdoor spigots. Make sure all existing house isolation valves are functioning properly.
Spring brings rain! Make sure your sump pump is functional and clean out any debris that may be in the sump it. Clear all French drains and down spouts.
